Right now, behind the scenes at The Animal Cause, our team is working hard to establish the permanent land and sophisticated facility infrastructure our long-overlooked pets deserve. But today, we are facing an immediate operational hurdle that we cannot clear without our community.October has arrived, and our critical veterinary care and transport fleet maintenance bills are due. Before these beautiful faces (look at those eyes!) can take their next steps toward permanent foster homes and loving families, we must secure their seasonal health shields and ensure they travel safely. Our Needs This Month Are Concrete and Transparent:Vaccinations & Preventatives: We must fund mandatory core vaccinations and heartworm/flea preventative blocks for our current animals. This brings our immediate October medical target to exactly $678.00.Fleet Fleet Maintenance: Our vital transport bus—which is fully built out with custom indoor rescue kennels—is down and requires urgent brake work, new tires, and an oil change to stay safely on the roads.Because we are a 100% volunteer-led operation, every single dollar you invest goes straight to the frontline of direct care. No corporate overhead. No wasted capital.$25 covers a full core vaccination panel for one animal.$50 secures a month of vital heartworm and flea medical defense.$150 fully sponsors a complete incoming medical intake package.$500 helps purchase the heavy-duty tires and brakes keeping our kennel bus rolling.Let’s stand together in the gap between crisis and care.
