For over 60 years, Carlmont Parents Nursery School has been a place where curiosity blooms and friendships grow. Our preschoolers explore a spacious outdoor play yard and five vibrant classrooms designed to spark independence, creativity, and confidence that last a lifetime. As a proud parent-participation, play-based school, we believe that learning happens best through connection &mdash; between children, teachers, and families. Our dedicated educators not only nurture young learners, but also guide parents through monthly Parent Support Workshops, helping everyone grow together. Thanks to the generosity of our community, last year we were able to repaint our classrooms and add new shaded areas for outdoor play. This Giving Tuesday, your contribution can help us take the next step forward by supporting our teachers&rsquo; professional development through the CCPPNS Convention and spring preschool tours, refreshing and expanding classroom materials, and ensuring well-deserved salary increases for our wonderful teachers. We are however, in desperate need for a more permanent shade solution for our grass turf area. &nbsp;A triangular shade sail has proven to be the easiest solution for the school, church, and renters of the facility. &nbsp;The church has agreed to let us use one of the trees in the area as an anchor but we will need to provide two more footings and posts in the playground that will be sturdy, functional, and safe. &nbsp; We will need to start fundraising to purchase materials, provide rental equipment to excavate 3-4ft below the ground, install posts, reinforce, and fill the holes with concrete and measure that it does not interfere with anything vital to the building or existing grounds.</div> Your donation will go directly to help us fund our shade sail project. Join us for an extra morning of fun at CPNS!&nbsp; Current students, siblings and alumni are welcome (ages 2 and older). Spaces are limited - first come, first served. Price is per child. Sorry, no refunds. No co-op required. Hours are 9am-noon for the morning programs. If you are dropping in on a Tuesday or Thursday, please pack a nut-free lunch for your child. Hours are 12:30-3:30 for the afternoon program on a Tuesday or a Wednesday. &nbsp;Please note that the afternoon program is typically outside only. &nbsp;Please send a nut-free snack and water bottle. &nbsp;Music with Teacher Katie is 3-3:30 on Wednesdays.
