Peer Support Professional (PSP) Support Groups
Community is the heart of peer support, and even peer supporters need a space where we can connect and reflect on the important work that we do. CMWN hosts Peer Support Professional (PSP) Support Groups each month to bring together individuals who are currently working, volunteering, or trained in a peer support capacity. These groups are a supportive, confidential space where you can share experiences, celebrate successes, and receive support from others who truly understand the role. 🩵 Support Group Expectations: Attendees must be Peer Support Professionals with lived experience related to mental health, substance use, and/or trauma. If you registered but are unable to attend, please let us know in advance so that we can offer your spot to someone else.Hate, discrimination, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. We operate using strengths-based perspectives. We use person-first and recovery-oriented language whenever possible.Do not share personal or identifying information about peer support participants. This is a collaborative support space. Please commit to being present online (no driving, cameras on if possible, being in a quiet, private space). Questions? Reach out to Kristen Orzel at [email protected] with any questions or concerns. 💡 Want to learn more about CMWN? Check out our other programs here.
