Legacy Lives Here LuncheonSaturday, August 29, 2026 | Orlando, FloridaThe Celeste Hotel You're invited to the inaugural Legacy Lives Here Luncheon, an afternoon built for our community to gather, celebrate, and build together. This is a day made for all of us, designed to be multi-generational from start to finish. We encourage you to share it with your parents, your children, and the people who have shaped you along the way. Every guest and every investor sits in the same room, at the same table, and shares the same experience. Why This Matters:The Legacy Lives Here Luncheon is anchored in August during Black Philanthropy Month, a national observance that honors a tradition of giving and collective investment that runs deeper and further back than most people realize. We gather on August 29, one day after National Black Philanthropy Day, to carry that tradition forward in our own community. This year's theme is The Golden Era, a tribute to the periods in our history when Black communities were most economically powerful and most self-determined. From Black Wall Street in Tulsa to Eatonville, Florida, just miles from where we gather, these were functioning economies built by people who decided their community was worth investing in. The Golden Era reminds us that what we are building is not new. We are picking up something our ancestors started. What To Expect:

The Golden Carpet. Your arrival into the day, where you step into the Golden Era from the moment you walk in, and the celebration begins before you reach your seat.

A Prelude to Joy. An opening that sets the tone for the afternoon, where story, sound, and welcome come together to remind us why we gather.

A program rich with stories from the people building this work and carrying it forward, woven through with art, music, storytelling, and dance, each one a reminder of what becomes possible when a community resources its own.

The Village Table. The heart of the program, where we share a meal together, and the questions at every seat are designed to spark conversation that travels home with you.

Attire:Golden Era afternoon elegant. Come dressed to celebrate, in attire inspired by the eras when our communities shone brightest. Think timeless, polished, and golden. An Invitation To BuildFor generations, our community has pooled what we have to create what we need. Churches were raised from shared savings. Towns were built from collective investment. Whole economies were born because people decided together that something was worth building. That same spirit is what brings us together on August 29th. Legacy is built by people willing to pull together for a future bigger than themselves. We are not asking you to support something. We are inviting you to build it with us.
