This is a day made for all of us, designed to be multi-generational from start to finish. We encourage you to share it with your parents, your children, and the people who have shaped you along the way. Every guest and every investor sits in the same room, at the same table, and shares the same experience. Why This Matters:The Legacy Lives Here Luncheon is anchored in August during Black Philanthropy Month, a national observance that honors a tradition of giving and collective investment that runs deeper and further back than most people realize. We gather on August 29, one day after National Black Philanthropy Day, to carry that tradition forward in our own community. This year&#39;s theme is The Golden Era, a tribute to the periods in our history when Black communities were most economically powerful and most self-determined. From Black Wall Street in Tulsa to Eatonville, Florida, just miles from where we gather, these were functioning economies built by people who decided their community was worth investing in. The Golden Era reminds us that what we are building is not new. We are picking up something our ancestors started.
