Become a Supporting Member of the Human Compatible Learning Center. When we began this work, we held a deep hope: that voice educators everywhere, regardless of where they live or what resources they have access to, would be able to keep learning. That no teacher would have to stop growing simply because the support wasn't there. That hope is what Supporting Members make possible.Because of people like you, voice teachers are attending world-class training programs they could not otherwise afford. They are returning to their studios and classrooms changed. And the students in their care are feeling that change. As a Supporting Member, here is what you make possible:The Leon Thurman Human Compatible Learning Award funds full-tuition scholarships for independent voice teachers and clinicians worldwide. Award recipients attend transformative programs including the Acoustic Vocal Pedagogy Workshop, the CCM Vocal Pedagogy Institute at Shenandoah, the OCU Vocal Pedagogy and Vocology Intensive, VPPW Boston, the Westminster Voice Pedagogy Institute, the Group Voice Pedagogy Intensive at Coastal Carolina, and the PAVA Symposium. In our first year alone, we reached educators in Argentina, China, the Middle East, the Philippines, and across the United States. The VoiceCare BookClub brings the global voice community together for live author conversations and deep dives into landmark books on voice science and pedagogy. It is a gathering place, part professional development and part community, open to anyone with a passion for the voice. There are no tiers here. Every contribution, whatever its size, helps us hold this work with integrity, funding scholarships, sustaining our own programming, and keeping everything we do accessible to voice educators across every region, language, and economic reality. We invite you to give in a way that feels right for you. There are more applicants than we can fund. There are more teachers who want to keep learning than the field currently supports. Every contribution moves us closer to meeting that need.We believe that when people's needs are seen and met, something shifts. In a studio. In a classroom. In a life. That is what your membership builds.100% of every donation goes directly to our mission. We fundraise through Zeffy, which means platform fees never touch your gift."Vocal self-expression really cannot be separated out from everything that we human beings are and may become." -- Dr. Leon Thurman, Ed.D.Send a teacher to school. Take care of the caretakers.
