The Indy Folk Series is an all-ages listening room with superb acoustics and a warm, welcoming vibe. Concerts are held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis, our home since 2001. We strive to be accessible and inclusive.

5:30 PM &ndash; 6:10 PM, educators and multi‑instrumentalists&nbsp;Sean Hoffman and Ellen Coplin&nbsp;guide you through a friendly, accessible introduction to harmony. Expect playful ear‑training,
approachable music‑theory tips, and the joy of learning a song

The legendary Tannahill Weavers return to the Indy Folk Series with the electrifying blend of pipes, fiddle, flute, bouzouki, and soaring harmonies that made their 2023 show unforgettable. Founded in 1968 and hailed as Scottish National Treasures, the &ldquo;Tannies&rdquo; bring traditional Celtic music into the modern world with power, joy, and irresistible spirit. The Tannahill Weavers

Born and raised Hoosiers, John Bowyer and Jayme Hood have spent the past decade crafting heartfelt Midwestern Roots Music as The Hammer &amp; The Hatchet. Their songs draw deeply from rural life, shared experience, and the easy chemistry that first sparked when Jayme harmonized with John at a jam session.
