Join the non-profit Just Jazz Foundation as we present the Mzansi Jazz Collective 🎷 &mdash; a powerful ensemble spotlighting South African jazz voices alongside local musicians. The Mzantsi Jazz Collective is a high-voltage powerhouse of modern Afro-jazz, co-led by the visionary pianist and composer Bokani Dyer. Born from Botswana&rsquo;s soul and sharpened on South Africa&rsquo;s competitive jazz scene, the trio&mdash;Dyer on piano, with lethal rhythm section Timothy Norton (bass) and Malachi Whitson (drums)&mdash;doesn&rsquo;t just play music: they hunt it. Their sound is a storm of swinging post-bop, hypnotic groove, and raw, harmonic electricity. Live, they transform from a trio into a single, breathing organism&mdash;unpredictable, thrilling, and absolutely relentless. When they hit the stage, you don&rsquo;t just hear jazz. You survive it.
