Great Coffee. Greater Purpose.
Great coffee. Greater purpose.Journey with Equus has partnered with Dancing Jaguar Coffee to bring you AD 1975 — a specialty graded, single-origin coffee grown at Finca San Isidro, the Duke family farm in Copán Ruinas, Honduras, and freshly roasted in small batches in Kiowa, Colorado. This bold, medium-to-dark roast offers a deep, satisfying cup with dark chocolate notes and the distinctive character of its Honduran origin. But this coffee carries something even deeper.Finca San Isidro has been part of the Duke family story since 1975, when Erika’s parents, Adán and Zoila Duke, purchased the farm. That same year, Erika’s only brother, Abner Duke, was born. Abner was tragically killed at the gate of the family farm, and AD 1975 is lovingly named in his memory.Every bag carries the legacy of this family, this farm, and the journey from Honduras to Colorado. And when you purchase through Journey with Equus, your coffee does even more.Your purchase helps support the rescued horses, donkeys and mules of Journey with Equus and the work we do bringing animals and humans together through equine-partnered wellness programs. From the seeds to your cup — and from your cup to a greater purpose.AD 1975Bold. Rich. Meaningful.$24 per bag.
