Lost Coin Zen

Lost Coin Zen fosters deep self-awareness through Zen practice and Zazen meditation, helping individuals cultivate intimacy with their own lives and emotions. Their retreats provide a space for personal exploration and connection to one's true self.

Capping Phrases (Jakugo) are poetic short phrases selected by a Zen student from a collection of such verses to poetically and precisely show that the student has distilled the koan to its essence, fully seeing through the koan, mind-to-mind with the Zen Master who transcribed it over 1000 years ago. &nbsp;Jakugo practice is challenging, beautiful, and illuminating. Together we will study a collection of Capping Phrases (provided by Sensei for the retreat) and the students will match these Jakugo to Koans, both traditional ones and Koans in the students&#39; own lives.&nbsp; This will be a lively and participation-driven workshop that also includes a healthy dose of Zazen. &nbsp;This is really something new- don&#39;t miss out on the opportunity!

Lost Coin Zen's Memberships
