Since 2007, the United States Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) has lost 48 heroes. Since 2015, the Marine Raider Foundation has hosted an Annual Resiliency and Remembrance Event, which brings together the families of our Marine Raider fallen heroes. The Foundation fully funds this event including travel, lodging, meals, and activities for these Gold Star Families (approximately $300-400K annually depending on location).The multi-day event emphasizes personal resiliency and celebrating the lives of the families’ loved ones in social settings that are informal and safe. These families come together in a casual atmosphere annually to remember, grieve, and celebrate their loved one. We also spend a day with the Raider Command to ensure they are still connected and engaged with the entire Raider Community. The 2026 Gold Star Family Resiliency and Remembrance Event will take place in Wilmington, NC on June 24-28.
