Summer Hay Drive Our new Hay Barn will be built within the next two months. This barn will hold 250 bales, which we wish to go into the winter with it full. The word is that the canal will be closing much earlier this year, which is leading to only one cut when there&#39;s always two and sometimes 3. One rancher usually puts up 600 bales per year. This year, he was only able to get 250 bales and that is what he needs to feed his cows, none available for sale unless he sales his cows altogether. This is another rumor, that there will be a huge surplus of hay if the ranchers have no choice but to sale off their cows. Time will tell with this. In the meantime, we need to know we are covered. Luckily, we have two hay producers&nbsp;online to fulfill this hay drive. We have 50 bales in Shavano Valley to pickup and another 350 lined out in Colona. As soon as the hay barn is complete, we will start loading it up.&nbsp; Our goal of $60,000 represents a 50% increase in hay prices. Normally, we would be paying $40,000.&nbsp; Please donate to help the Metaphorse Herd, who have participated in over 100 Metaphorse Energy Exhchange sessions already this year. Due to the lack of snow pack from last winter, our water capacity started the season at 50% of normal conditions. With this comes higher hay prices. We are paying 50%-60% more this year and I&#39;ve gotten the direct word of someone doubling their prices. We need to be able to store a large amount of hay. In the past, we have worked out deals with hay providers to keep the hay for us until we are able to store them ourselves. This has been a great setup except we keep coming up short in the last few months before spring due to various reasons. It can be quite difficult to find hay in that time period.&nbsp; With tarps, we can safely store up to 20 large (3x3x8) bales at a time. With this new barn, measuring 54&#39; wide and 50&#39; deep, we will be able to store 250! That&#39;s a really nice start on the 400 needed annually! We have also added a 12&#39; x 30&#39; loafing shed onto the back of the barn which will provide some great cover for horses. Finally, with proper placement, the barn will provide over 60&#39; of wind break in the corral area! With a goal of $30,000, we are already 86% of the way there, thanks to our angel on earth!&nbsp; There&#39;s just a little more work to do which includes hiring an excavator to level a 54&#39; x 62&#39; area of dirt for the barn and some gravel. Healer & Artist Fair III 2026

This certification prepares equine facilitated learning practitioners to work through a metaphor-based lens, drawing on four established traditions in the field &mdash; safety and accreditation standards, ground-based experiential work, here-and-now awareness practice, and the herd-leadership and congruence tradition &mdash; integrated with Metaphorse Growth and Healing Center&#39;s own approach. The program runs 12 weeks, September 21 through December 13, 2026, and blends three formats:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Self-paced foundation modules (Week 1)</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Weekly live Zoom sessions (90 minutes, most weeks)</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Two in-person intensives (4 days each, at Metaphorse&#39;s facility)</li></ul>A supervised practicum and final assessment in Weeks 9&ndash;12 give trainees the chance to apply the material with live feedback before certification.
