The North Austin Foundation fosters community engagement and support through initiatives like Project Helping Hands, aiming to connect residents and enhance local well-being. They create meaningful opportunities for collaboration and positive impact in Austin.

We&rsquo;re bringing Project Helping Hands back and we&rsquo;d love for you to be part of it. Join us for a laid-back community event as we relaunch this program and start building something really meaningful here in Austin. This is a space to connect, learn more about what we&rsquo;re doing, and support the next chapter. There&rsquo;s a suggested $10 donation (completely optional) to help us get things off the ground, but mostly we just want people in the room who care.Come by, hang out, and be part of something good.

Project Helping Hands is a recovery housing and stabilization program operated by North Austin Foundation. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive environment for individuals working toward sobriety, stability, and long term recovery. Project Helping Hands is designed to serve as a short term bridge between choosing recovery and accessing treatment, long term housing, employment, and community support. For many people, the period immediately after deciding to seek help is one of the most vulnerable stages of recovery. Without stable housing, structure, and support, many individuals are unable to remain sober long enough to access the next step. We believe recovery is strengthened through community, connection, accountability, and dignity. Your support helps provide recovery focused housing, basic needs support, stabilization services, wellness and recovery programming, operational costs, and future program growth. As we work to relaunch and expand Project Helping Hands, we are building a stronger foundation for sustainable recovery support in our community. Every donation directly helps us continue creating a safe space where people can begin rebuilding their lives.
