Great Humboldt Duck Race 2026
As Northeastern Nevada Museum's annual fundraiser, The Great Humboldt Duck Race has become one of Elko's most unique family events. Every year, thousands of rubber duckies are adopted by supporters of the Museum. At the end of July, we partner with City of Elko Fire Department to flush the ducks down Angel Park Hill. The winner receives $1500! The last duck to cross the finish line wins the $250 Lame Duck Award sponsored by Everything Elko Magazine. Your participations enables us to continue providing free programming and exceptional exhibitions. If you would like to be a Gold Quack Pack Business sponsor (200 ducks), we will advertise for you all summer long in various local media outlets. Your generous business sponsor donation jump starts our fundraiser ensuring its success.
