Passive House for Everyone

Passive House for Everyone promotes sustainable building practices to create energy-efficient homes. Their mission is to educate and empower communities to adopt passive house standards, reducing carbon footprints and fostering a greener future.

New York is transforming its buildings to meet some of the nation’s most ambitious climate goals under Local Law 97 and the CLCPA. Achieving deep emissions reductions requires a robust, skilled green building workforce capable of delivering retrofits, electrification, and high-performance building systems and operations at an unprecedented scale. Ireland has emerged as a global leader in sustainable construction training, with integrated models that align policy, industry, and hands-on workforce preparation. This 3-day delegation brings together New York leaders across government, labor, education, industry, and economic development to engage with these systems firsthand and assess how they are structured, funded, and scaled. By actively learning from those who have already forged this path, we aim to work together to modernize New York’s buildings and systems, strengthen its green workforce pipelines, and translate proven strategies into actionable programs that advance equitable economic growth and meet city and state decarbonization targets. See detailed itinerary for session topics, speakers, Irish counterparts, and locations. Important Note: The Zeffy fees are OPTIONAL. If you prefer not to pay you can choose "Other" and 0%. Questions or assistance? Contact In Cho or Caroline Zayas King at info@passivehouseforeveryone.org
