Youth Employment Project (Housing)
Hope Is Disappearing—Unless We Act NowRight now in Sierra Leone, bright, capable young people are losing hope. Even those with high school or college degrees cannot find work. With no future in sight, many turn to street labor—or fall into a devastating drug epidemic that costs just 25 cents a hit. This is happening today, in the 21st century. When you kneel beside a young woman no one else will approach, brushing flies away while she fades into despair, it becomes clear: progress means nothing if people are still being abandoned. The only compassionate response is to act now. This project creates lasting hope through jobs.Young Vision Africa is expanding its proven employment work by building a 26-unit student apartment building near a growing university in Bo, Sierra Leone, where housing demand is high. This is not charity that disappears—it is a self-sustaining solution.50% of all future income will permanently fund youth jobs and small businesses50% will fund school loans, primary education, and crisis housingThis one building will generate $10,000 every year, supporting 16 full-time jobs, educating dozens of children, and providing subsidized housing for families in crisis—year after year. Our work already proves this model works.Young Vision Africa has built homes for 25 families, a medical outpost, and a fully functioning primary school with clean water, power, and teachers. Children who once faced illiteracy are now graduating high school and imagining real futures. What we need now:To complete the first wing, we must raise $40,000.That’s 80 people giving $500—or any amount toward this goal.Go HERE for the detailed project plan.Your gift doesn’t just help once.It creates permanent jobs, dignity, and hope. Please give today. Hope cannot wait.Full Project Plan here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1olwvPSvV-kKvkntyLQOGGsTMLk3B95lW/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=109064864391697043398&rtpof=true&sd=true
