Spring Avenue Elementary Block Party!

Welcome to the homepage of Spring Avenue&#39;s first ever Fun Run! On September 25th, we invite family and friends of Spring Avenue to come out and cheer on their students as they run laps, high five, and dance their way to raising money for improving their classroom! Donations are optional, all students will participate in the run during school hours.&nbsp; Funding will help provide teachers with new gym scooters, flexible seating, group tables, and additional enrichment activities among other requests. These materials will enhance classroom instruction, group collaboration, and indoor recreation during the winter months.Here are the fundraising goals and prizes our students can unlock:School-Wide Goals:&nbsp; - $3,250: Pajama Day&nbsp; - $6,500: Popsicle Party&nbsp; - $10,000: Ms. McCoy joins the Fun Run in an inflatable costume!Class Goals:&nbsp; - $300: A silly class activity chosen by the teacher&nbsp; - $600: PTO-sponsored fun lunch or snack Family and friends are welcome to gather on Catherine Ave during their student&#39;s fun run time slot to cheer them on.&nbsp;Schedule: 9:00-9:30: 6th grade9:30-10:00: 5th grade10:00-10:30: 4th grade&nbsp;1:00-1:30: 2nd grade1:30-2:00: Kindergarten2:00-2:30: 3rd grade2:30-3:00 1st grade&nbsp; Thank you for your support in helping us reach our goal!&nbsp;

Spring Avenue Fun Run

🧹 Witches Ride : A Spellbinding Journey!&nbsp; 🧙4:30pm: Kick off the magic at 1136 S Kensington Ave! Join us for apps and cocktails. We will have candy to load up for the ride! 🚲6:30pm: Jump on your broomstick (bike). Cackles echo as we glide toward Spring Avenue School, circling the school like enchanted guardians of knowledge. From there, we swoop down Spring Avenue, casting candy towards the mystical grounds of Waiola Park (circling the bike path). 🍸 7pm: Our final destination, The Elm at 23 W Harris Avenue. Raise a toast to a ride well flown. 🍭We will be tossing candy along the route for kids to enjoy. We will be sharing our witch&#39;s route map and timing to spread the word.

Spooky Sprint

Fun Lunch is back!&nbsp; The Spring Avenue PTO is hosting five Fun Lunches this year with kid-pleasing food delivered to school from local restaurants.&nbsp; Fun Lunch will take place during the regular lunch hour on the following dates:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">October 2: Ledo&#39;s</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">December 11: Mangia Mangia</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Jan 29: Breakfast for Lunch</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Mar 12: Jimmy Johns</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">May 21: Cafe Salsa</li></ul> Just like last year, we&#39;re asking you to opt in or out of all five lunches as a package. When you submit this form, you&#39;ll select which menu item your student wants from each restaurant. If you select the number of &quot;tickets&quot; you will be able to sign up all your kids for fun lunch in one order. Please consider helping the PTO offset the cost by donating&nbsp;$40 for each child who participates. (The one-time payment covers all five lunches.) The PTO expects Fun Lunch to cost $10,000 this year, so your support helps ensure we can keep this kid-favorite tradition going.&nbsp; If you&#39;re able to contribute, please fill out this form with your child&#39;s preferences and donate using the donation box provided.&nbsp;Submit this form by Friday, September 18 to guarantee your child gets in on the FUN!
