Join Us in Creating Something Original The Dalles Overground brings original music, arts, and cultural experiences into shared community spaces. We believe a vibrant arts community creates connection, gives artists a place to be seen and heard, and makes The Dalles a more interesting place to live, visit, and create. Since becoming a nonprofit, we’ve been building programming that puts that mission into action. The Hoot, our annual multi-venue music and arts festival, has grown into our signature event, bringing nearly 2,000 people to seven downtown venues to experience 25 acts in 2026. Beyond The Hoot, we create and support live music, arts and cultural events, collaborations with local businesses and venues, and opportunities for local and regional artists to connect with new audiences. Your support helps us keep that momentum going and expand what’s possible. Ways to support our work:

Donate: Your contribution helps us pay artists, produce The Hoot and other community events, support emerging creatives, and cover the behind-the-scenes costs that make accessible arts programming possible.

Share: Attend an event, bring a friend, follow our work, and help introduce more people to the artists and experiences happening right here in The Dalles.

Get Involved: Volunteer at an event, contribute your skills, become a sponsor, or bring us an idea.
