Join the Uganda Tri-state Community Association (UTCA) 🇺🇬🤝Become a member and stay connected to Ugandan culture, community news, and local opportunities in the tri-state area.Uganda Tri-State Community Association (UTCA) is non-for-profit entity organized as a tax-exempt charity organization under section 501(c)(3) exclusively for enhancing cultural diversity, social interaction, economic well-being, educational and sports amongst the Ugandan Community in the Tri-State area of New York, New Jersey & Connecticut. Our mission statement “Culture, Unity and Prosperity” is enforced through the objectives below.To cater for the cultural, educational, social and economic needs of Ugandans both in the Tri-State area and Uganda.To act as Liaison between donor organizations outside Uganda and relevant organizations and projects in Uganda involved in charitable work for the improvement of living conditions for Ugandans at home.To provide Ugandans in the Tri-State area with a sense of belonging and a family atmosphere, through the organization of social evenings and cultural festivals.To act as a resource center for information pertaining to what is happening in Uganda and updating Ugandans in the Tri-State area as to what is happening in their own community and the U.S. at large.To aid to charitable programs in Uganda, both local and national, that promote relief, rehabilitation and economic self-sufficiency to Ugandans both in the Tri-State area and in Uganda.As a UTCA member, you can:Take part in cultural events, professional networking, youth mentorship programs and family social gatherings.Access community support and shared resources for small businesses, social welfare & investment opportunities.Help foster unity between Ugandans and our wider neighbors, enhancing economic prosperityGet a 10% discount on tickets for UTCA events.Fill out this form to add your voice and presence to our community.
