Umuwi Ethnic Studies champions liberation through education, fostering a transformative Ethnic Studies curriculum that empowers students and communities. We strive to create a future where diverse histories and cultures are recognized and celebrated in classrooms.

Three years ago, we committed to the belief that Ethnic Studies could be a place of liberation, not just survival. Now, we look back with deep gratitude: for the educators, organizers, students, and supporters who gave their time, money, and belief when we were just getting started. In a time fraught with crises, we are still here. We recognize the challenges mounting against this work. But we will not waver. We will not back down. We are still here&mdash;and we&#39;re just getting started. Join us for an evening of community, storytelling, music, food, and collective generosity as we celebrate what we&#39;ve built together and share a surprise announcement for what&#39;s ahead! All tickets include drinks and delicious appetizers. Space is limited, and we fully expect to sell out&mdash;please RSVP early.
