HUERFANO GIVES 2026Huerfano Gives is a countywide fundraiser open to all local nonprofits. When you sign up, your organization is automatically included in both parts of the fundraiser. All that is required to participate is this registration form and payment of the registration fee. From there, you can participate as much or as little as you&rsquo;d like. 1. The 12 Days of Giving &mdash; Online Fundraiser Each participating nonprofit gets its own donation link. Donors can donate to multiple nonprofits a single transaction or contribute to a shared Community Pot. We handle the donations, receipts, and payouts. Your organization receives:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Everything donated directly through your nonprofit&rsquo;s link</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Your share of donations made through the multi-nonprofit option</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">An equal share of the Community Pot</li></ul>2. The Legends Gala &mdash; In-Person Fundraiser The Gala is a fun, donor-focused evening with food, music, a silent auction, and opportunities to donate directly to participating nonprofits. Tickets include a $50 donation, and ticket and silent auction proceeds are divided among participating nonprofits. Participating nonprofits are invited (not required) to sell tickets for the Gala.The more tickets your organization sells, the larger your share of the Gala proceeds. What Can Your Organization Expect?You don&rsquo;t have to actively fundraise to participate, you&rsquo;ll still receive a payout. However, organizations that share their donation link and sell Gala tickets have the opportunity to raise more. Last year:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">12 Days of Giving campaigns raised from $60 to over $2000</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Nonprofits that sold no Gala tickets still received about $60 from the Gala, while the nonprofit with the most Gala ticket sales sold 4 tickets and received $300.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Total Huerfano Gives payouts ranged from $185 to $2,249</li></ul>This fundraiser rejects the idea that we are competing against each other and instead embrace our shared love for this community and to work together. The more we promote Huerfano Gives together, the more money we&#39;ll raise for all of our programs and initiatives.
