Join UNA-Nashville for our 2026 UN Day Celebration 🌍 as we connect Nashville to global challenges. Our 2026 UN Day Celebration at Belmont United Methodist Church's Community Center is scheduled for 2 PM this Saturday, and we would like to inform you about a change to the originally scheduled program. Our keynote speaker, Pat Ryan, will be unable to join us due to unforseen circumstances. In his place, our president, Tye Ebel, will speak about the importance of multilateralism and then moderate a panel composed of members of the United Nations Association Board who will talk about the organization and the role that we as citizens can play in supporting international cooperation. We will then host a small group workshop for our participants before concluding with an award ceremony for our 5th grade essay and poster competition contestants. We apologize for the change in program but trust that it will still be an impactful event. Together, we’ll lift up student voices, hear local stories of global work, and celebrate the work of our UNA-Nashville Education Committee's UDHR Essay and Poster Challenge.
