Interested in becoming a Master Gardener but have questions? What do Master Gardeners actually do? What's involved in becoming a Master Gardener volunteer? Do I have the necessary gardening experience? How long does it take? UC Master Gardeners of Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties are accepting applications until September 30, 2023, for our next cohort of trainees. Our 2024 training and certification program begins January 2024 and is open to residents of Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz Counties. Join us for a 1-hour information session to learn about the UC Master Gardener program and hear an overview of the training and certification process. You'll learn about our mission and the many ways we educate local home gardeners about sustainable gardening. Plus, you'll get to meet a few current Master Gardeners.  There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions as well.  We can't wait to meet you!
