Hello Bay Area Stage Patrons!

A Life in the Theatreby David Mamet.

Robert, is a stage veteran while John is a young, promising actor. As the play goes on they are involved in a variety of productions, and gradually their relationship begins to change. In 90 minutes of short vignettes, the two actors run through every backstage story you've ever heard - missed cues, wardrobe malfunctions, dropped lines, broken props - all staged with comic dexterity in this fast-paced and fun revival, the show's first production on Broadway (In Vallejjo).

We have had the good fortune of securing two of the finest actors to ever come together on ours or anyone else's stage!

The role of Robert, will be played by Michael Cawelti and the role of John, by Patrick Atkinson. Who could forget Michael's earth-shaking performance as "Big Daddy" in our Cat on a Hot Tin Roof! Experience his rapier wit, sharpened by years of experience, and foiled by Atkinson's incredibly precise comedic timing, in David Mamet's funniest play, A Life in the Theatre!
