Medium: Gouache and Acrylic on birch panel
Size: 24"x 24"
Description: A winter view from my studio window — a painting of a painting, a still life that is both playful and reverent. The window holds Bear, Bee, Fox, Tiger, Monarch, Swallowtail, Turkey, and a Christmas cactus blooming in February, alongside a quirky ceramic bird. A string of lights, stars, and paper circles drift above. A personal totem that I hope speaks to transformation, protection, and the quiet courage of witnessing beauty.

Description: This piece was made during February and March of 2025. Tigers have been a muse for a couple of years and I have been in relationship with cultivating their qualities within myself; to hone courage in the face of fear and to trust that I can get through complex situations.

Size: 16 x 20
Description: The composition was inspired by a friend of mine named Brian Huntress, and his painting Blue Boy. If you hang both pieces right next to each other, it looks like they're from alternate universes but under the same giant umbrella. The tv screen for a head came to mind when brainstorming characters, and a neon cyberpunk world felt fitting. I used black sharpie marker on the tv screen and smashed a broken wacom tablet to give her some microchips. I wanted the piece to feel ethereal, ambiguous and strange.
