The high-performance law enforcement resuscitation course is an innovative training program for sworn peace officers which interweaves classroom learning, hands-on skills building, and reality-based training scenarios designed to enhance officers' lifesaving skills under stress. The course provides up-to-date science and research to ensure law enforcement is provided with the high-performance resuscitation training needed for incorporation in the field.  This 2-day course is designed to bring the participant from student to trainer providing students realistic field conditions, stress inoculation, instructor development, and curriculum framework for time-sensitive medical emergencies which law enforcement frequently respond to. This course utilizes experienced evaluators, live actors, high-fidelity feedback manikins, bleeding simulators and more to evaluate and enhance participants’ lifesaving skills.  Day 1 is comprised of classroom learning, skills-building, and reality-based training scenarios. You will need your duty gear. We will provide blue training guns, hemorrhage control gear, Training AEDs, training Narcan, etc.  Day 2 will consist of a morning classroom session, micro station skills teaching, instructor development, and course attendees will develop their own field scenarios and put the rest of the class through them. Most officers like to bring their laptops for day 2 to develop and write out their field scenarios. We highly encourage you to bring yours. Please hydrate before training. We have secured a sponsor to purchase lunch for everyone. We usually purchase group meals like sandwiches or pizza. If you have diet restrictions or prefer to pack your own lunch, please be prepared to do so as we do working lunches.
