Annual AGA Commonwealth of Virginia Professional Development TrainingEvent OverviewThe Annual AGA Commonwealth of Virginia Professional Development Training is organized by the AGA Greater Richmond, Southwest Virginia, Shenandoah Valley, and Virginia Peninsula Chapters. This flagship regional event is scheduled to take place on Thursday and Friday, December 10-11, 2026.Location and ParticipationThe event will be held at the Great Wolf Lodge, located at 549 E Rochambeau Dr, Williamsburg, VA 23188. For those who are unable to travel, a virtual attendance option will be provided via Zoom. Since the pandemic, the conference has operated as a successful hybrid event and has consistently received positive feedback.AudienceThis professional development training is designed for a broad spectrum of professionals, including accountants, auditors, financial and performance managers, budget analysts, chief financial officers, information systems managers, and finance directors. Attendees represent government organizations at the federal, state, and local levels, as well as the private sector and non-profit agencies. Attendance is projected to exceed 100 participants.The Great Wolf Lodge can accommodate up to 200 in-person participants, with virtual options ensuring engagement from across the Commonwealth. All session speakers are required to attend in person, and travel expenses are not covered.
