Thank you for joining us in support of the Shawnee Seed Sanctuary and the Prophetstown Harvest Gathering! We are grateful that you will be sharing this special evening with us. Your participation helps us continue work that began with something very small&mdash;a seed&mdash;and has grown into an opportunity to bring people, communities, and relationships back together at Prophetstown. Proceeds from this dinner will help make that gathering possible, including providing travel and lodging assistance for invited participants who may be traveling hundreds&mdash;or more than a thousand&mdash;miles to be present. We look forward to welcoming you on Friday, September 4, from 6:00&ndash;9:00 PM at Fellowship Hall at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington. Come hungry! Together we&#39;ll share a four-course traditional Native meal led by guest cook Monica Jo Raphael, along with stories and short films about Native seeds, foodways, and the work happening at Prophetstown.<h3 fr-original-style="" style="width: 100%; box-sizing: inherit;">Tax Information</h3>Your event ticket includes goods and services with an estimated fair market value of $35 per guest. For federal income tax purposes, the deductible portion of your payment is limited to the amount paid in excess of the fair market value of the goods and services received. For each $40 General Admission ticket, the estimated value of goods and services received is $35, and the deductible portion is $5. For a $400 Reserved Table for up to seven guests, the estimated value of goods and services received is $245 ($35 per guest), and the deductible portion is $155. Any separate additional donation for which no additional goods or services are provided may be deductible in full, subject to applicable tax laws.
