In searching for Kali: the goddess of power, destruction, and fierce motherhood, the artist found that none of the forms encountered matched the one she was seeking.  From this absence, a personal Kali was created, giving rise to the voice of a daughter who questions, yearns, and seeks comfort from a mother who is both powerful and vulnerable. Kismet with Kali invites audiences into a space where myth meets memory.
