Presenting the launch of The Little Brown Hen: The Little Red Hen Meets Her Match!&nbsp; This heartwarming tale upgrades the story of Little Red Hen, emphasizing the importance of recognizing one another&#39;s gifts and working together to accomplish great things. It was written by Leigh Sloan and illustrated by Maggie Joy.&nbsp; Leigh is excited to use this book to help raise funds for the nonprofit, Alaska School Choice. Just like the Little Brown Hen in the story, school choice efforts help kids discover and activate their unique gifts. All our educators can come together to find innovative ways to meet the needs of our unique students.&nbsp; As President of Alaska School Choice, Leigh will share their vision of becoming a scholarship granting organization to deserving Alaskan students in need. On the menu is a variety of soups, salad, and desserts. Come join us in an enjoyable evening for a good cause and grab a copy of Leigh&#39;s book to take to one or more of your favorite children.&nbsp; You will receive one copy of the book per ticket. Additional copies are available for purchase for an additional donation of $15. You may have your book signed by Leigh and/or Maggie if you like.&nbsp;
