This fall, Boulder Symphony &amp; Music Academy and Wild Heart Dance will present a bold reimagining of Tchaikovsky&#39;s Swan Lake at Macky Auditorium. Our large-scale collaboration brings together full symphony orchestra and contemporary dance on stage, creating a unique artistic experience that neither organization could produce independently. The performance will also feature world premiere works by emerging composers affiliated with the University of Colorado Boulder School of Music as part of BSMA&rsquo;s Boulder Living Composer&rsquo;s Project, including Minoo Dixon and Aric Vyhmeister. These new works showcase Colorado&#39;s next generation of creative talent while providing meaningful opportunities for local professional musicians &amp; dancers, and audiences. This production marks the Macky Auditorium debut for both Boulder Symphony and Wild Heart Dance. More importantly, it launches what we hope will become an annual collaboration between our organizations, bringing together dance, live orchestral music, and new artistic voices in a way that is unique to Boulder and our creative artists.
