This original 16x20 acrylic painting by New Bern artist Tyrone Brown is a heartfelt tribute to the historic Stanley White Recreation Center—a beloved landmark in the Black community of New Bern, NC. Once a center for youth programs, sports, and civic engagement, the building was tragically destroyed by Hurricane Florence in 2018.
