Join us for a powerful day of learning, reflection, and connection as we travel from Atlanta to Montgomery, Alabama, to explore the Legacy Sites created by the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI). Through immersive exhibits and moving storytelling, these nationally recognized sites illuminate the history of racial terror, lynching, and injustice in America while honoring the resilience and courage of those who fought for change.

This is more than a bus trip. It’s an opportunity to deepen your understanding of our shared history, engage in meaningful dialogue, and be inspired to help shape a more just future.

Which Legacy Sites will we visit?

Participants will have the opportunity to view all three Legacy Sites:

• The Legacy Museum
• The National Memorial for Peace and Justice
• Freedom Monument Sculpture Park

What is the cost?

The cost to participate is $75. This includes round-trip transportation, entrance to all three Legacy Sites, and a boxed meal for the return trip home.

Will there be food?

• Breakfast and lunch will not be provided. You are encouraged to eat before you arrive at the meeting location.
• You will be responsible for covering the cost of your lunch. There are many options nearby, including Pannie-George’s, which is attached to the Legacy Museum.
• A boxed meal for the return trip home will be provided.

Can I bring my child?

Children must be at least 13 years of age to participate.

How should I dress?

The National Memorial for Peace and Justice and Freedom Monument Sculpture Park are outdoor exhibits. Dress comfortably and wear walking shoes.

When is the deadline to purchase a ticket?

The deadline to purchase your ticket is September 14, 2026 by 11:59 pm. Space is very limited to facilitate a more personal experience, so don’t delay!

Will I receive an itinerary?

Yes. Registered participants will receive an itinerary two weeks before the trip.

What else do I need to know?

The exhibits may elicit intense emotions. We encourage participants to join with a friend, family member, or connect with a buddy to share the experience together.
