Grandpa as drawn by his favorite boy Jett Grandpa was an A&F favorite for years. While he never found the perfect forever home, he found love from many, including Jett and his mom Jamie. Grandpa stayed with Jett several weeks of each month for the last year of Grandpa’s life. Jett loved having conversations with him, watching TV with him and showing him every toy he owned. Jamie knew Grandpa had chosen Jett when he left her room to sleep with Jett instead. Followers always looked forward to seeing their adventures. Search our Facebook page for Jett and you’ll find dozens of photos of Grandpa and his favorite boy. Jamie says losing Grandpa in October 2023 was difficult but it helped teach Jett the importance of rescue. Jett still has a personalized Grandpa pillow and often draws pictures of him. Dimensions: 8x10 Shipping: Additional $10 About Duke: Duke came to us all the way from a kill shelter in Florida, where he was euth-listed due to his age and blindness. After making the long trip, he has settled in well at the little red barn where he is proving to be quite the sweetheart. Duke loves to walk around the barn and absolutely LOVES his toys. He carries them everywhere and will play for hours. Due to the fact that he's blind and loves toys, we think maybe a home with older kids would be best just because he does sometimes accidentally nip a hand when he's trying to grab his toy. Same with kisses, sometimes he accidentally misses but he is all sweetness with all people. Despite being blind, he gets around really well and doesn't let it stop him from being a great dog! So far, we think Duke might do best as an only-pet. The other dogs spook him and he does much better on his own. He is an older guy who would prefer a calm house where he can mosey around the rest of his days.

She will be your companion all day long for car rides. She is crate trained, housebroken, and has done well with all of the dogs at her previous foster home as long as they are larger than her. She is not good with cats though. Joy is hearing impaired but knows the signs for good girl, peanut butter, eat, drink, walk, potty, no, sit, leave it, and I love you. She has a very rough and rowdy play style when she chooses to play with another dog. She usually prefers to play with the toys by herself. She can and will defluff a toy in .3 seconds! Joy is eager to please her people. She was transferred to us from another rescue where she was since 10/8/2019, when she came in pregnant after being dumped at a kill shelter. All her puppies have long been adopted and grown up, but sweet Joy still waits for her Furever home. Please consider giving Joy that furever home she is so deserving of.

He was living with a few other dogs on the streets and they either found homes or wandered elsewhere. We were told the owner that his owner passed away and the dogs were left to wander and fend for themselves to find food, water and shelter. Bones was very skinny when he was picked up and taken to the local Animal Control shelter and there he sat for a while. He is potty trained and is wonderful with everyone he meets. Bones is a medium to high level energy guy who is great on a leash. He loves everyone he meets and is very affectionate. He is picky about his friends and does well when introduced slowly to other dogs. Bones would love a family of his own to smother in kisses!
