Clay Sponge Holder Workshop

Design a functional and thoughtfully crafted kitchen essential in this wheel-throwing workshop.&nbsp; Students ages 16+ will learn how to throw small, controlled forms on the pottery wheel while considering practical design elements such as drainage, airflow, and stability for everyday use. The class will guide participants through shaping compact vessels, refining proportions, and altering forms to create openings or sculptural details suited for holding sponges and kitchen tools. Techniques for trimming, adding drainage features, and finishing surfaces will also be covered, along with opportunities for glazing and personal surface decoration.
