Join Colfax Ave BID for the official kickoff of Colfax Art Underground, an open-air art experience featuring 20 original art panels installed along Colfax Avenue. Our first guided Art Underground tour leaves Velvet Banjo at 4:15 PM, taking guests out onto the avenue to explore artwork installed along the corridor from Nob Hill to Ma’s Kitchen. Then head back to Velvet Banjo for an evening featuring live art, participating Art Underground artists selling their work and merch, and a giant community freeform canvas where everyone is invited to leave their mark. We’ll also be raising funds for artist Oak Bloak’s planned buffalo mural on the exterior of Velvet Banjo, helping add another new piece of public art to Colfax. Come for the walk. Meet the artists. Make some art. Buy some art. Help create some art. Colfax Art Underground Kickoff Party is part of the November Anything Can Happen on Colfax lineup.
