We are proud to present an extraordinary evening with internationally acclaimed violinist and one of the world&rsquo;s leading performers on the violoncello da spalla, Sergei Malov, in his rare Los Angeles appearance. A true virtuoso, Malov commands both the violin and the remarkable Baroque shoulder-held cello &mdash; an instrument almost never heard live &mdash; captivating audiences with dazzling technique, expressive depth, and fearless artistry. Celebrated at major festivals and concert halls around the world, Malov is renowned for his electrifying performances that bridge centuries of music with fresh intensity and brilliance. His interpretations combine historical insight with modern fire, creating concerts that are as intellectually compelling as they are thrilling. The program offers a powerful mix of solo and duo performances: favorite movements from Johann Sebastian Bach&rsquo;s Cello Suites and selected Niccol&ograve; Paganini Caprices, alongside sparkling works by Saint-Sa&euml;ns and Tchaikovsky performed with virtuoso pianist Vladimir Khomyakov. Expect an evening of breathtaking virtuosity, lyrical beauty, and unforgettable musical excitement. A Complimentary Wine Salon Reception will start at 6:30 PM and continue after the concert, offering the opportunity to meet the artists and enjoy a convivial atmosphere!
