Decatur Lunar New Year 2027: Year of the GOAT 🐐 It's the Greatest Of All Time — literally. 2027 is the Year of the Goat, and we're celebrating with Decatur's 6th Annual Pan-Asian Lunar New Year Festival! Join us Sunday, February 7th from 11am to 5pm at the Ebster Courtyard at Beacon Municipal Center in downtown Decatur for an afternoon of food, art, performances, and community. Explore the diverse customs of Vietnam, South Korea, China, Thailand, Japan, and the Philippines through cultural passport stations, a marketplace of Asian American artists and creators, delicious food vendors, and live performances that blend tradition with modern flair. This is more than a festival — it's a celebration of the richness and diversity of Asian American communities in metro Atlanta. For Asian American families, it's a chance to see our cultures honored and uplifted together. For greater Decatur and beyond, it's an invitation to learn, eat, and celebrate alongside us. All proceeds benefit Asian American Voices for Education (AAVEd), Georgia's only K-12 Asian American studies organization.
