LXCL:Join us as an observer and experience Brandywine Workshop &amp; Archives through guided exhibition tours and live demonstrations by our Master Printers. Guests will explore “WE” THE PEOPLE and PrintLab: Material Futures, visit our print workshop, and watch the printmaking process in action. This option is designed for guests who would like to experience the exhibitions and demonstrations without participating in the hands-on printmaking workshops.

LXCL:Join Master Printer Alexis Nutini for a hands-on woodcut printing workshop where participants will use a custom woodblock to print directly onto a textile. Ink and printing materials will be provided.Guests are encouraged to bring their own textile such as a denim jacket, jeans, scarf, skirt, or other cotton item to personalize. Tote bags will also be available for guests who choose not to bring their own textile. No previous printmaking experience is necessary.

LXCL:Join Master Printer Justine K. Ditto for a hands-on monotype printmaking workshop exploring the spontaneity and experimentation of this one-of-a-kind printmaking process. Participants will create their own original work on paper to take home. No previous printmaking experience is necessary, and all workshop materials will be provided.

In celebration of the 2026 DesignPhiladelphia Festival, Brandywine Workshop and Archives you are invited to experience Brandywine Workshop&#39;s legacy of design and printmaking through exhibitions, a behind-the-scenes tour of our print workshop, and hands-on printmaking. Guests will explore exhibitions, &ldquo;WE&rdquo; THE PEOPLE and PrintLab: Material Futures, supported by The Pew Center for Arts &amp; Heritage, before visiting Brandywine&rsquo;s print workshop to create alongside Master Printers Alexis Nutini and Justine K. Ditto. Alexis Nutini will lead a woodcut printmaking workshop, inviting guests to print directly onto their own clothing or textile using a custom woodblock.&nbsp;Workshop supples and tote bags will be provided to print onto, but bringing a piece from your closet to personalize with a custom print is encouraged.&nbsp;Guests are invited to bring a favorite cotton item from home; a denim jacket, pair of jeans, scarf, tote bag, cotton pants, skirt, or another cotton textile, and personalize it with a custom woodblock print created at Brandywine Workshop and Archives. Justine K. Ditto will lead a monotype printmaking workshop, guiding participants through the process of creating an original, one-of-a-kind work on paper. Workshop supplies&nbsp;will be provided for all participants. Guests will have an opportunity to experiment with the spontaneity of monotype while creating their own print to take home.
