The Stock Market Club provides students with an engaging, hands-on introduction to investing and personal finance through participation in The Stock Market Game, an educational program developed by the SIFMA Foundation and based on the New York Stock Exchange. Working in collaborative teams, students create and manage a simulated investment portfolio using real-world stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.

Throughout the program, students research companies, analyze market trends, evaluate financial data, and develop investment strategies to make informed decisions. Team members work together to determine when to buy, sell, or hold investments while monitoring the performance of their portfolio over time.

In addition to building financial literacy, the Stock Market Club fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork. Students gain a deeper understanding of how the financial markets operate and develop practical skills in budgeting, risk assessment, and long-term planning—preparing them to become informed investors and financially responsible decision-makers.
