New Volunteer Orientation

Welcome new volunteers!&nbsp;&nbsp;We&rsquo;re hoppy to have you join our team! Volunteering is a great way to interact with our rabbits, learn about bunny care, and to give back to the community. If you are interested in volunteering, completion of an orientation is required.&nbsp;We are looking for volunteers ages 9+ who are able to commit to long term and consistent volunteering (weekly or biweekly).&nbsp;Anyone ages 18+ who loves animals and wants to support our rescue is welcome to volunteer! Those ages 9-18 are welcome to volunteer when supervised by a parent or guardian aged 21+ who has also attended volunteer orientation. No prior bunny experience is needed &mdash; we&rsquo;ll teach you everything.Your job as a Bunny Concierge is to attend to the daily needs of our shelter buns. Your tasks include doing health and safety checks; cleaning the rabbit pens, boxes, bowls, and facility; and feeding, grooming, and socializing with the rabbits in rescue.During the orientation, you will learn facility procedures, how to care for our rabbits, and how to clean their pens. We will have an interactive cleaning session where you will get to meet our bunnies!Please select a separate ticket for each individual who will be&nbsp;volunteering&nbsp;if attending as a group*Any child under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult 21+ for the orientation and for any scheduled&nbsp;volunteer&nbsp;shifts.*Attendance and completion of an orientation is required before you may start your&nbsp;volunteer&nbsp;shifts.Please reserve a ticket for each person coming. Individuals under 18 must be supervised for training and all&nbsp;volunteer shifts by an adult who has also completed the orientation, so please keep this in mind when purchasing tickets.Upon registration, a confirmation email will be sent which will include our address.
