Join us for a hands-on evening program for middle and high school students, hosted at AMRoC Fab Lab three Fridays in April - April 11, 18, and 25—from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Students will dive into the world of basic electronics, learning to use breadboards, transistors, and op-amps while building their own custom night light and blinking light circuit. The program also includes an introduction to soldering and a simple motor control circuit.
Participants will get an exciting look into MATE ROV and underwater robotics, just in time for the Florida Regional MATE ROV Competition on May 3 (USF St Pete), where students can watch teams from across the state compete for a slot at the international competition!
Register early to secure your spot--class will be limited to 20 students.
No previous electronics experience required.
Classroom sessions will be led by Mike McGivern, of MITRE Corp.
