Executive Function and Test Prep (ACT) item
Executive Function and Test Prep (ACT)
$300

This is a year long class.

This course transforms students from passive test-takers into strategic, data-aware analysts of their own academic performance. Before mastering standardized content, students learn the cognitive and psychological skills required to perform under high-stakes academic conditions with clarity, confidence, and consistency.

Rather than focusing solely on test preparation, this class builds the underlying “operating system” of academic success—teaching students how to interpret performance patterns, reduce avoidable errors, and make intentional, results-driven decisions in testing environments.

This is not simply an ACT prep workshop; it is a transcript-ready academic skills course designed to strengthen executive function, test-taking strategy, and performance awareness.
Additional materials are required for this class to be purchased by the families.

Through guided fieldwork, they will venture into the community to conduct interviews, investigate local topics, and capture stories that matter. History: Faces of Evil - Villains in History
$125

This engaging high school geared history course takes students on a deep dive into some of the most infamous figures in world history. Each week, students will examine a different historical “villain,” exploring the events, decisions, and cultural contexts that shaped their rise to power and legacy. Rather than simply labeling individuals as good or evil, the course challenges students to think critically about leadership, morality, propaganda, and how history is written.

Students will analyze primary and secondary sources, participate in guided discussions, and develop research and writing skills as they investigate how and why these figures are remembered the way they are. Topics may include political leaders, military figures, and controversial influencers across various eras and regions.

By the end of the course, students will have a stronger understanding of historical complexity and will be better equipped to evaluate how perspective and power shape the stories we inherit.
