The South Portland Music Boosters proudly present For the Love of Music, a calendar raffle designed to support music education for students in the South Portland School District. Music programs play a vital role in our schools, helping students build creativity, confidence, discipline, and teamwork. However, due to a current budget freeze within the school department, funding for music programs is more limited than ever. Community support is essential to ensure these programs continue to thrive. Proceeds from For the Love of Music directly support the South Portland Music Boosters, helping to fund instruments, equipment, show fees, performance opportunities, and financial assistance so all students can participate, regardless of circumstance. Each raffle ticket gives participants multiple chances to win prizes generously donated by local businesses&mdash;all while making a meaningful investment in our students and the arts. Tickets can be purchased through the month of February, with winners being drawn in March during Music in Our Schools Month.
