Join us at the farm for a laid-back evening focused on making the beauty of the season last. We&rsquo;ll walk through the best flowers for drying&mdash;from celosia and gomphrena to various native grasses&mdash;and show you the best techniques for air-drying, pressing, and preserving their color. We&rsquo;ll also talk about how to use your dried stems in wreaths, everlasting bouquets, and home decor. Everyone will harvest two fresh bunches from our production rows to start their own drying project. We&rsquo;ll have all the snips, twine, and hanging supplies ready for you! This event takes place at Edgewood Community Farm &mdash; just head up the red stairs to the left of the yellow house at 2304 2nd St. NE. If this is an indoor event or if we need a rain backup, the event will be held inside the yellow house. For paid events, registration fees for no-shows will be treated as donations to the farm.
