LXCL:March 11, Guide DayGuide Day is the heart of the Moab Guide Summit, running from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM and bringing together Moab's working guides for a morning of learning, connection, and community. Guides are invited to hear from speakers who are ready to share new perspectives and information about the Moab landscape, connect directly with rangers and land agency staff, and engage with the broader Moab guiding community.

LXCL:Pick only one field sessionFrom 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, join an afternoon field session of your choice. Sessions take place outdoors at locations close to Moab, putting the morning's learning directly into the landscape. Pick the session most relevant to your work and leave with firsthand experience and knowledge you can bring to your clients right away. Space is limited, so register early to secure your spot.

The Moab Guide Summit The Moab Guide Summit is an annual gathering that brings together Moab&#39;s professional guiding community, outfitter owners and managers, and land management agencies for two days of education, connection, and stewardship. Set against the backdrop of Moab&#39;s remarkable canyon country, the Summit creates a space where the people who lead others into this landscape can learn from each other, from land agency partners, and from industry experts, strengthening the relationships and shared knowledge that make coordinated, effective visitor education possible. The Summit is built on a simple but powerful belief: that guides who truly understand the landscape they work in become its most effective ambassadors. When Moab&#39;s guides speak with one voice, the impact is felt across every canyon, trail, and river corridor in the region. Through a combination of tabling sessions, presentations, and open conversation, guides engage directly with land agency staff, stewardship organizations, and industry partners in an intentional space designed to foster lasting relationships. Field sessions take the learning into the landscape itself, giving guides firsthand experience of the trails, cultural sites, and ecosystems they talk about every day. These sessions are among the most valued elements of the Summit, grounding professional development in the very places guides bring their clients, and deepening the connection between the people who lead and the land they lead others through.
