This isn&#39;t quite a traditional ham group per se; we&#39;ll do lots of cool activities or have talks that help you learn to use your radio or, in more advanced sessions, really let that ham nerd flag fly on some technical deep dives. All experience levels welcome, and you don&#39;t need a license to join.&nbsp;Drop in even if you&#39;re just ham-curious and get your questions answered in a friendly and welcoming environment. This Month:&nbsp;Participating in a Net What is a net, anyway? And how do you join in? When are they and why should join one? What&#39;s good Net etiquette? We&#39;ll cover all this and more in this fun and informative session. Bring your radio!&nbsp; About Andrew Cornwall:&nbsp;Andrew Cornwall is active in the emergency communications community in Arizona. He has managed and taken part in large scale communications exercises and public service events. He is an ARES Emergency Coordinator, a manager of the Arizona Emergency Net-Maricopa training net, and is accredited as an ICS Incident Communication Center Manager (INCM) and Auxiliary Communications (AUXCOMM) resource.
