Discover the Park after Dark!&nbsp; Join us for an evening under the stars as we explore the importance of dark night skies. Enjoy a guest presentation, participate in fun activities for kids, and end the evening stargazing through telescopes or with the naked eye! At 6:00 PM, join lunar geologist Dr. Zachary Morse for a night sky presentation on the second floor of the former Anthony Hall. Head to Murphy-Chambers Farm anytime from dusk - 10:00 PM for stargazing with the TriState Astronomers in collaboration with Harpers Ferry National Historical Park! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and dress for cool mountain nights. Please note that pets and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Parking is limited&mdash;registration and carpooling are encouraged. *The outdoor stargazing portion of this program is weather dependent and subject to cancellation on short notice.

Other InformationComfortable clothing and footwear are essential! We suggest dressing for cool mountain nights, long pants are recommended. Please bring a blanket or lawn chair if you would like to sit during the outdoor portion of the portion. As a reminder, pets and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Parking InformationFor the presentation, we recommend parking either the former Anthony Hall or the <a fr-original-style="" href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/BiT7adc4ZAPx7Z7f7" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Shipley School lot</a> on Fillmore Street in Harpers Ferry. When arriving, please allow time to park and arrive at the program. For the stargazing portion of the program at Murphy-Chambers Farm, there will be staff to direct you on where to park, and we highly encourage carpooling whenever possible.
