HUMMINGBIRD SIT -- LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ (Members Only)Saturday, August 15 5 PMYou’ll not want to miss this trip! Location, location, location…and a lot of TLC. As fall migration south begins for hummingbirds in August, evenings bring the most hummingbirds to this small private but very popular hummingbird oasis by the shore in Little Egg Harbor, NJ. As we sit and wait, the homeowner will share stories of how he got started, the numbers and vagrant species of hummingbirds he has had through the years, and what plants attract the most hummingbirds. Please plan on eating dinner before the program or after dark. Bring a folding chair and a water bottle and we will sit and enjoy! Our “Sit” ends at sunset. You’ll provide your own transportation and will receive instructions/directions the week before. This program is free (with a current Rancocas Nature Center membership). Inclement weather cancels
