Join us for a night of music, art, and conversation with grammy award-winning musician Andrew Dost and painter, illustrator, and muralist Em Randall. Both have experience in each others&rsquo; area of expertise. Both artist were born and raised in northern Michigan. This is the first in the series &ldquo;In Good Company,&rdquo; pairing local musicians and artists (be they visual artists, poet, dancer, or writer). Unlike your typical concert, each evening is meant to explore how different disciplines see and influence each other and how our shared place is refracted through each unique lens. With host Joan Shelley, we will explore the challenges and gifts of creating and working in northern Michigan. A lifelong creator, he has performed in many bands, including Metal Bubble Trio, Fun, and Anathallo, and hosts &quot;Christmas at the Old Art Building&quot; in Leland every year.
